Quarterly News

In P.E. we are working on building our muscle strength, especially our abs, quads, and biceps.  We have practiced our football passing, hiking, and catching skills. Two of our boys threw a football from one end of the gym and hit a target on the other end of the gym. Our classes have also participated in running, dodging, and throwing games which help to build accuracy, speed, and coordination.  We want to emphasize teamwork and having fun without worrying about wins and losses.  At home, I would like our students to get outside play time as much as possible.  Biking, hiking, or just taking walks with parents, or older siblings. Outside chores are another form of exercise.   Also provide good balanced nutrition, without as much junk food, and please see that they  get a full night of sleep.   We want to keep our children healthy and strong.   By doing these things we can also improve their scholastic abilities.
